Tiffanie was so much more than just our event planner, she became a part of the family.  Since we did not originally have a wedding, Tiffanie was instrumental in making our 20th wedding anniversary party, the wedding of our dreams! She was open to all of our ideas, but honest with things that would not be executed well. She is so organized and answered a lot of our questions before we asked them. Every detail was perfect in every way, we could not have asked for a better event or a better planner. We are beyond grateful.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington, VA. The hotel recommended that we hire a Day of Coordinator to handle the personal touches. I found Tiffanie on The Knot and we had a great initial conversation with her. We ultimately decided to hire her because of her great ideas and that she brings an assistant to help her out on the actual day. (I think the size of the wedding determines if she needs an assistant or not.) Tiffanie started working with us in depth about a month before the wedding. I had my own timeline, but she created her own which was much better. She was always very responsive to our emails with questions and changes to the timeline. We met with her several weeks before the wedding to review everything. During that meeting it was great how opinionated she was because she had tons of fabulous ideas that I never would have thought of. It was clear that she was an expert! Leading up to the wedding she also reached out to all of our vendors to confirm everything on their end. It was a huge time saver for us when she did that. During the final walk through she had some great ideas about room layout and it worked much better than what the hotel normally does. On the day of the wedding Tiffanie handled all of the details. I am typically a very detail-oriented person and like things a certain way, but I knew that she would be able to handle everything. We were able to visit with our guests without having to micromanage anything. When we had to do something (like the first dance or cake cutting), Tiffanie ushered us from one thing to another, which was very helpful. One of the best decisions in the wedding planning process was to hire Tiffanie!

We absolutely loved having Tiffanie on our team for our wedding. She helped us with planning out our big day. We seriously couldn't have done this without her. By having her help it allowed us to enjoy our day without having the stress of coordinating our vendors not only the day of but the weeks leading up to our day as well.

Your personality and smile made us feel as if we were special. We saw you as our "go to/get it done" partner. Your expertise, attention to detail and outstanding network of professional contacts made my daughter's vision of her wedding a reality! You had a way of making us feel as if we were a priority, no matter how many times or when we called! I truly believe you went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of! Thanks to your hard work and the trust I had in you, I was able to be "present and engaged" at my daughter's wedding! That made the day even more wonderful! I'm not sure how we would have pulled off our daughter's wedding weekend without Tiffanie and Bird of Paradise Events! Tiffanie gave us the gift of a stress free wedding day - and managed to keep our perpetually late daughter on time for her ceremony. Tiffanie and her assistant made sure that the venue was beautifully set up in advance, and that all was in order with the various vendors, cater, etc. It meant a far more relaxing day for the mother of the bride -- and it was all so worth it to know that we didn't need to worry about the many details leading up to and through the big day. Tiffanie is both professional and personable -- and that was a winning combination for all of us.
